Hawkeye was designed to allow on-scene collision investigators to capture important scene evidence for analysis in minutes without taking any measurements.

Hawkeye is ideal for anyone who requires accurate top-down views with measurements of scenes.

Taking measurements now takes minutes and not hours,
without the need of expert knowledge to get started!

Measure the Scene with Your Camera in Seconds!

Clear the Roads in seconds - Vista FX3 now has the new Hawkeye program built right into its interface. Users now click to use Hawkeye to transform a perspective crash or crime scene photograph into a top-down view. You need only have 4 reference points in the photograph with the dimensions known between the points. Click on the points, enter the measurements, and BOOM - you are done and the scene is transformed to scale with the photo as part of your Vista FX3 diagram. No import, no export, no scaling, no hassles. What used to take hours at the scene is now done in minutes and traffic is cleared right away. Back at the office, your job is done in seconds with a complete reconstruction done just as quickly.

Integrated into Vista FX3
Start from within Vista FX3 and import the result as a top-down view in proper scale on your diagram, all at the click of a button.

Minimum Requirements to get started

All you need is a camera, chalk & measuring tape. and a few minutes of your time to get accurate measurements and top-down images that can be used in your Vista Diagram.

99.5% accurate
We recommend that you use a 3 Megapixel Digital Camera or higher for more accurate results. If you use a 35mm camera, scan images at 200dpi or higher for best results.

Note: Do not use with wide angle lenses. Lens distortion will make it impossible to convert your perspective photo accurately.
To capture more than you can with one photo, simply take more shots and piece them together.
