SmartRoads
 The SmartRoads component now features new and improved functionality. You’ll be amazed by the ease of use and the speed to create diagrams. Professional diagrams will take you minutes instead of hours or days.
We have taken the popular drag & drop behavior of the Object Library and applied it to the SmartRoads components.
Now all you do is drag & drop various road elements onto your scene and SmartRoads will do the rest. To create an intersection you now have to drop 2 road segments on top of each other to intersect.
No training required, diagrams in minutes, to scale every time!

 Ideal intelligent drawing component for creating crime, fire scenes that occur in and around structures. SmartRooms allows you to drag on a building, snap in walls, doors, windows and all with complete control of placement by realtime reference dimensions.
3D Human Model
 Finally, a way to completely edit a anatomically accurate 3D human model. Click to open 4 framed editing form with vertices at every joint visible in 3 axis with results in the 4th. Also includes trajectory tool to draw gunshot trajectory based on wound location which can then be extended in your scene to determine trajectory origin. No more strings in the room!
CrashMath
 This is the program to set the new standard in crash reconstruction technology, designed to fill the void in collision reconstruction covering every aspect/equation you need to get the answers you need.
750 equations form the heart of collision reconstruction calculations and appear in an easy to find menu.
Crash FX  The Crash FX tool creates a live connection between the diagram and a 360 degree momentum solution. This tool allows you to calculate pre-skid velocity, impact velocity, and post impact ( separation ) velocity and many more important output details for verification via other calculation processes.

New Interface
 Visual Statement has taken a big step into the future and redesigned Vista fx to look as great as it performs. Apart from cosmetic changes and amazing new components, Vista FX2 now includes the little big 4: Actions, Scene, Help - menu and Properties dialog. All are aimed to make our diagramming software more intuitive and easy to use. We believe that anyone who can use a computer and needs a diagram should be able to do so without any or a limited amount of training. Even first time users should be able to create diagrams in the same amount of time as seasoned users of comparable software packages.

A quick overview makes the initial run in SmartRoads a breeze.
It provides information on how to use tools, objects and anything selectable.

Properties
 The properties dialog is positioned below the canvas and allows you to edit selected objects, quickly and efficiently.
Simply select an object and edit its properties such as size, color, and other parameters that are specific to the selected object. Includes road lanes and road lines on selected intersections and roadways.

Hawkeye - built in Photo Rectification
 Vista FX2 PRO Recon now includes the new Hawkeye. You need only know the distances between 4 points in any configuration visible in the scene photo. Click on the points, enter the distances, click finish and see a top down, to scale photo appear in your Vista FX2 drawing. Very slick!!

2D Animation - Now Standard !
 Now included in all Vista FX2 suites. Make the vehicles and other animated objects move in real time right on your diagram for powerful animations.

Animated Skid Marks
 Yes, now you can draw skids or yaw marks and have them appear over time to coincide with skidding or yawing vehicles. Complete flexibility to add another dimension of reality to your precision animations.
Animated Gun Shots
 Draw lines as gunshot trajectories, add muzzle velocities, start times, and watch the guns shoot in the 3D scene, with precision timing, complete with sound. Very high tech and useful for multi-weapon gunfights!

Animated Fire
 This simply has to be seen. It appears real in 3D using state of the art particle effects. Fires progress, and grow to show instant fires and explosions from crashes or arson fires or explosions. Seeing is believing!
Animated Traffic Lites
 This feature is now available for the newest 3D animation release (free update for all Vista FX2 users). Set complete traffic signal timing, including blinking left turn arrows, several signals at a time, timed to your crash. Finally, a way to relate the signal sequencing to the crash sequence. Very illuminating!
