Explore Scenes in a 3D Environment
Evaluate witness statements by placing yourself in their position. Move around the scene very precisely using either keyboard functions or buttons.
You can snap to up to 10 pre-set camera positions whenever you wish, or define your own camera positions to verify witness statements. Vertical and horizontal obstructions, bullet trajectories etc. become obvious and are easily documented with snapshots. You can even view the visibility opportunity from the drivers position.
Environmental Effects
RealScene 3D allows you to change the scene to indicate the presence of fog, dust, rain, or snow as visibility considerations, to match the conditions of the case.
It even allows you to easily change the density/intensity of any of these conditions using a slider bar and your mouse.
Visibility Effects
Examine precisely any visibility obstruction from any viewpoint and take snapshots from any position.
Set the transparency of windows or even entire walls to get a “clear” picture.
Lighting Effects
Set the precise sun position that existed on the day in question, at the time of the incident. Enter the horizontal and vertical angle of the sun on the day in question and the sun position will appear on the scene precisely.
