2D Animation
2D Animation is a standard component for all FX3 editions. It is a great tool to preview your 3D animations or for time distance analyses where only Yaw is of importance or for customers who do not have RealMotion 3D (3D animation).
Plays right on your Diagram
Make the vehicles and other animated objects move in real time right on your diagram for powerful animations. This amazing component enables the user to perform time-distance analyses when only Yaw is of importance.
Preview 3D Animations
You can use this new component to instantly preview 3D Animations, and animation path segments. So you save time by editing your animation path segments right on your diagram.
RealMotion
2D animation is based on the same mathematical engine used in RealMotion 3D. Speeds and positions are used to calculate the animations, rather than using keyframes like other software packages, resulting in highly accurate and life like animations.
Collision Synchronization
FX3 will synchronize any objects you want to collide, every time. Once you define 2 or more objects for collision, and change pre or post collision paths, the objects will still meet as expected, every time.
Live Damage display
FX was the first software package that enabled the user to damage models for diagrams. Now Visual Statement engineers have taken the damage display capability in diagrams and put it into 2D and 3D animations.

Reports
All animations accurate animation reports for presentations. For accurate time distance analyses where you need to capture Yaw, Pitch and Roll please use RealMotion 3D (3D animation).
