M-FX reviewed by Mark Rice

This program has left me almost speechless again! ...This left three detectives for me to train. I just spent 1 hour with one of the untrained detectives and guess what...he is basically trained and ready to go with M-FX.

I have been honored to be a participant in the development of a great new Visual Statement product. M-FX is the latest Visual Statement product that, once again, leaves no doubt that Visual Statement is the leader in the field of crash and crime scene diagramming.
For years now accident investigators and crime scene analysts have begged for a product that is easy to use yet powerful enough to render the sketch in real time. With M-FX the future that we all have been waiting for is here! No more hoping that all the evidence has been mapped, no more lugging a laptop to the scene to download the data collector. With M-FX you can see your scene in the palm of your hand. Lines and points are instantly rendered on the data collector screen giving the user the assurance that the scene is being captured.
One might think that a program with the capabilities of M-FX would be difficult to learn and use. In keeping with the Vista FX3 software line, this just isn’t so. Within a few minutes of loading the program our detectives were mapping training scenes, including data in 3-D! Because we were able to so quickly learn and use the M-FX we soon found ourselves trying to find the limits of the program.
We have yet to find a limit on M-FX. M-FX can do everything we ask of it and then some! We have now moved out of the training phase and have actually used M-FX at several fatal crash scenes. I have found that with M-FX we are collecting more data in less time. Imagine that…more data in less time…who would have ever thought this day would come.
I’ve used many different methods, tools and software to collect crash scene measurements. But I can say without any hesitation that Vista FX3 and M-FX is by far the best program that I’ve ever used. I look forward to many years of use out of M-FX and Vista FX3 software.

This program has left me almost speechless again! You probably don't know this but we only had 10 of our detectives in the training we did a couple weeks ago. This left three detectives for me to train. I just spent 1 hour with one of the untrained detectives and guess what...he is basically trained and ready to go with M-FX. That's amazing! Please let everybody there know what a great product Visual Statement has and how pleased I am to be using this program.
