The Sun Position Calculator does exactly what it sounds like it should. Fill in the details from your incident and receive results that allow you to accurately position the sun in your 3D Scene.
Above you can see the 3 components of the Sun Position Calculator interface. To get started double-click your location on the Latitude & Longitude map. It will be tagged with a marker and identify your position.
Latitude/Longitude at map center: 43.452919 / -111.708984
Combine the Latitude/Longitude with your Time Zone (as determined via the chart), add your elevations as well as the time and date of the incident and your are ready to calculate your sun position.
Note: be sure to enter the Latitude and Longitude correctly:

When entering the results in FX3 remember that the Altitude Angle = Elevation and Azimuth Angle = Direction.
